Finish Specialist Gig Harbor, WA | Full-Time | $20-$22/hour

About the Position
At RealCraft, our Finish Specialist puts the final touch on each of our handcrafted doors, applying the proper finish and making sure it lasts. This role is essential to the doors we build for architects, designers, and homeowners across the country.

Who We Are
RealCraft designs and builds premium solid wood doors and hardware for homeowners, architects, and designers nationwide. We're the only direct-to-consumer builder using solid wood doors and solid metal hardware, handcrafted on-site using traditional joinery.

What You'll Do
  • Receive completed doors, mantels, or countertops from the production team.
  • Re-sand, color match, or repair small defects before finishing.
  • Determine and apply the correct finish by hand, no paint booths, per the sales order.
  • Conduct a final inspection, then pad and wrap doors for safe shipping.
  • Maintain storage and organization of finish products.
  • Help hang doors, attach hardware, install silicone sweeps, and load doors into crates as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Reliable and timely attendance.
  • Organized and tidy, with the ability to read and understand finish orders.
  • Able to show initiative, problem solve, and take direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
What We Offer
  • $20-$22/hour, Monday through Friday, consistent hours.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with RealCraft covering 80% of your medical premium.
  • Simple IRA with 3% company match after six months.
  • PTO starting day one, plus paid holidays and extra time off at Christmas.
  • Work boot allowance, referral bonuses, and bridge toll reimbursement for Narrows commuters.
Working Conditions
Full-time, on-site in Gig Harbor. The work is physical: you'll be on your feet, lifting up to 70 lbs, and doing the kinds of things woodworkers do.

How to Apply
Submit your resume and tell us a little about the work you've done. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team that builds things worth building.
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
